Between August 26–29, the Department of Fluid Mechanics organized the 19th edition of the Conference on Modelling Fluid Flow (CMFF’25) in Budapest. This international conference, held every three years, brought together more than 100 participants from 15 countries to share their latest research findings and professional experiences. The DAAL-CON&amp;nbsp;Ltd. has been dealing with textile air ducts in the past 10 years. Nowadays they produce their own product labelled EXANDAIR. The development began 5 years ago with the help of the Department of Fluid Mechanics. The colleagues of the Department developed a simulation software for the EXANDAIR textile airduct system. The BUTE Faculty of Mechanical Engineering works together with Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems Budapest since 2016 on&amp;nbsp;R&amp;amp;D projects that will provide the materials, technologies, and methods of the future in the vehicle industry. In the framework of this cooperation Knorr-Bremse grants scolarships to the most talented students to work on one of these projects.
