The DAAL-CON Ltd. has been dealing with textile air ducts in the past 10 years. Nowadays they produce their own product labelled EXANDAIR. The development began 5 years ago with the help of the Department of Fluid Mechanics. The colleagues of the Department developed a simulation software for the EXANDAIR textile airduct system. The BUTE Faculty of Mechanical Engineering works together with Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems Budapest since 2016 on R&D projects that will provide the materials, technologies, and methods of the future in the vehicle industry. In the framework of this cooperation Knorr-Bremse grants scolarships to the most talented students to work on one of these projects.
